We only accept membership registration from those who fall under the following categories because of the nature of our service which distributes information on financial results briefings held by listed companies for institutional investors and analysts.
For IR staff of listed companies
We will approve your registration after confirming that you belong to a listed company or a company scheduled to be listed, based on the information entered at the time of member application.
For Institutional investors including banks and insurance companies
We will accept your registration after confirming that your organization falls within the “Scope of Qualified Institutional Investors” as stipulated in Article 10 of the Cabinet Office Ordinance on Definitions as stipulated in Article 2 of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, based on the information entered at the time of member application.
In addition, we will also refer to Stewardship Code – 322 institutional investors have signed up to the Principles for Responsible Institutional Investors – Financial Services Agency when approving your organization in order to have institutional investors who are more willing to engage in dialogue with listed companies use Minsetsu.
However, we will not accept anyone who intends to engage in sales activities, e.g. private bankers, even if they are from a bank or insurance company. We ask for your understanding in order to protect the purpose of the financial results briefing.
For securities companies
We will approve your registration after confirming that your company falls under Type I or Type II Financial Instruments Business on the list: “Financial Instruments Business Operators” in List of licensed (registered) Financial Institutions – Financial Services Agency, based on the information entered at the time of member application.
For Minsetsu partners
If we understand that your business or service contributes to the activation of the capital market, we will approve your registration as a partner company after the process of interview.
For those who do not fall into the above categories
In principle, those who do not fall into the above categories are not allowed to use our website. We ask for your understanding and acceptance of this policy.
